Arbor Day.
We are delighted with the growth in our trees planted in September for Arbor Day. We can see that our Plum Trees are competitive and clearly over achievers, whilst the Natal Mahogany is in no hurry to shoot upwards, rather taking time to establish very deep, strong roots.
We wondered if the Coral Tree was having an identity crisis, behaving more like a bush! But David Henry, who donated these trees explained that it just needs a little pruning and reminding to shoot up and not out.
Trees…. What a gift. What lessons they offer us. All growing, all reaching for the sun, in their own ways and their own time.
A reminder to celebrate one another’s progress, contributions and effort, knowing it always looks different.
“Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one”.
